The pathway to true spirituality is straightforward - it is to reconnect with the Spirit of God, so that our fractured psyche could experience transformational healing. Yet that is so difficult to practise because it requires concentration and discipline – to make time for worship.
The pulpit ministry is an integral part of worship because its purpose is to:
- remind us of our sacred responsibilities
- declare God’s love and His heart’s desire
- celebrate God’s grace and invitation to participate in His divine nature
- alert us to and shield us from the world’s and even our own hidden intentions
- instill within us a profound respect and reverence for God, and
- challenge us to obey and grow deeper into the holiness of heart and life.

The POWERHOUSE
Though the Lord God Almighty can accomplish His purposes without human help, the Bible and church history have consistently shown us that it is His pleasure to act in response to our prayers. Therefore, the congregation is urged to follow the example of Epaphras who was highly commended by the apostle Paul, 12 Epaphras, who is one of you, a servant of Christ Jesus, greets you, always struggling on your behalf in his prayers, that you may stand mature and fully assured in all the will of God. ~Colossians 4:12~ (ESV)

In I Chronicles 15:16, it was recorded that during a worship service where the ark of God was brought into a tent, David also commanded the chiefs of the Levites to appoint their brothers as the singers who should play loudly on musical instruments, on harps and lyres and cymbals, to raise sounds of joy. Indeed, the role of the worship leaders and musicians is a significant one in the worship of God. So all who are gifted in playing any kind of musical instrument are urged to come forward and use your talents to glorify God and edify His people.

Our weekly Corporate Worship cannot be carried out without the zealous service of Scripture Readers, Ushers, and Welcomers. For the Body of Christ to function wholesomely and vibrantly, we must willingly give of our time, talents and treasures (3Ts) in serving God and His people.

Audio & Visual Crew
What use is the preaching if it can’t be heard? How can the congregation sing without words? These rhetorical questions clearly highlight the contribution of the audio-visual (AV) crew in our Corporate Worship of God. We need more people (whether skilled or unskilled as training will be provided) to join this challenging but rewarding ministry.
