Advisory

The latest MCCY Advisory (18 June 2020) states that churches “may resume congregational and other worship services, starting with up to 50 persons at a time (excluding religious and supporting workers, which should be kept to a minimum), subject to safe management measures.”

MCCY also encourages churches to continue recording and broadcasting their Services online. AGPC will continue to do so and at the same time welcome up to 50 congregants per Worship Service at 9.30am and 11.30am on each Sunday. This will take effect from 5 July 2020.

• AGPC shall be adopting the following safety measures, which include those outlined by MCCY in its Advisory:
• Before entering the sanctuary, congregants are to scan the SafeEntry code and do temperature-check. At the end of the Service, they are to check-out after leaving the sanctuary.
• Keep a 1m distance from each other if worshipping individually. But if worshipping in group, each group should have no more than 5 persons (e.g. family or friends) and must keep a 1m distance from other groups/individuals.
• Worshippers must leave immediately after Service. No reception or mingling is permitted before, during or after the Service.
• Everyone must wear a face-mask at all times. Those conducting the Service (e.g. the Preacher or Worship Leader) can unmask and wear a face-shield.
• No congregational singing or live performances are allowed. This is considered a higher risk activity as it could potentially release a large amount of droplets.
• No sharing of common items, like offering bags and communion elements.
• Everyone must follow the signages in place and/or obey the instructions of the Safety Ambassadors on duty.

If you are planning to worship in our church sanctuary with effect from 5 July 2020, please follow the instructions below:

• Look out for the Registration Link on our church website (www.agpc.sg) or your WhatsApp to be sent out by Eld Rocky, on every Wednesday.
• Register your name (and your family members’) accordingly on a first-come-first-served basis.
• For those of you on duty as Safety Ambassadors or AV Crew for a particular Sunday, you DO NOT NEED to register for that Sunday.
• When the 50-person limit per Service is reached, you will not be able to register your attendance. You will have to wait for next Sunday’s booking. But not to worry, you can still participate in our ONLINE SERVICE every Sunday.
• If your booking is successful, you will be given an acknowledgment email which you need to show the Safety Ambassador(s) at Level 1 before proceeding to the Sanctuary.
• If you are successful in booking for the 9.30am Main Service (for adults and family) or 11.30am Ignite Service (for youths and young adults) on any Sunday, please DO NOT REGISTER for the next 3 consecutive Sundays. This is to give other unsuccessful registrants a chance to register for the next available Service.
• Your understanding and co-operation on points (e) & (f) above would go a long way in ensuring a smooth and efficient conduct of our On-site Worship Services. So, please book only what you need.
• If you encounter any difficulty in booking, you may call Joyce (9785-5071) or Audrey (9757-0638) for assistance.
• The above mode of registration will be implemented until further notice from MCCY with regard to the progressive resumption of on-site religious activities for all churches.

If you are driving to church, please follow all signages in place and/or instructions of the Safety Ambassadors on duty.
