The Alpha Course

Brief History of Filos

Filos is a voluntary welfare organisation (VWO) set up as a Company limited by guarantee on 7 July 2004 to provide CARE and CONCERN for NEEDY individuals and their families while PROMOTING ACTIVE and MEANINGFUL LIVING in our community.

Filos is the local outreach arm of Amazing Grace Presbyterian Church and is affiliated to the Presbyterian Community Services of Singapore.

Filos is appointed Family Life Ambassador (FLA) of the Ministry of Community Development, Youth and Sports (MCYS). It is also a full member of the National Council of Social Services (NCSS) and an Institute of Public Character (IPC). It is a ComCare Local network partner with the South-East Community Development Council (SECDC).
